Local. Friendly. Low-Tech in a sophisticated way.
Intelligent people producing good food in a way which builds on both modern knowledge and the roots of the region.

Great food (local and/or organic), community networking, and dedicated vendors. Has an incredible baker who uses old-world recipes...mmmm!

The sellers are friendly and helpful. The produce is fresh and good. The prices are reasonable. The market is varied selling produce, baked goods, herbs, flowers, etc.

The peaches and tomatoes and blueberries and meat and bread are amazing, and it's such a wonderful community center. Also, I teach environmental studies; one of the focuses of my teaching is food. Farmers' markets provide excellent, fresh, local food. That's so important for so many reasons.
