I was hesitant to join a CSA because my prior limited experience felt like I had to take food that I didn't want. Not so at Tierra Vida Farm. You can swap out one item each week which has worked well for us.

Each week we get an email with info about the upcoming delivery, including recipes. That has made all the difference for me. In the past, I was hesitant to try new things but I have lost most of my inhibitions since I get recommendations each week.

And most importantly, the produce is FRESH! And usually clean enough to eat on the way home (although they recommend that you wash everything).

And I love that they are a no till farm so that the soil is not so disrupted.
