We drove to this market this week and really enjoy it. Very nice vendors and nice selection of many kinds of produce, local honey and fresh food. It is worth the drive.

We attend 3 different farmers markets weekly and Burlington is very unique. You can see the vendors are hand picked for their specialties, it is not a greedy organization that simply wants to get as many vendors in to make as much money as they can. Burlington Farmers Market is very special. It has that fresh, friendly atmosphere. I LOVE IT, THE VERY BEST!!!

The market has not only brought fresh/local produce to the City of Burlington, it has supported local farmers, brought foot traffic to downtown Burlington, and has been a great community event. It has also been a wonderful teaching venue for buying local, how far does your food travel, and local residents tring foods they had not. It is alot of fun on the fourth Thursday of each month to see the Burlington Area Car Club bring down their beautiful collector cars. Listening to music, watching kids dance in the park and people building community is wonderful.

I have been a part of the market for 2yrs now and have seen it grow considerably. We have a wonderful variety of vendors from locally grown meat, eggs and veggies to handcrafted jewelry, soaps, stained glass and aprons all from local artists. You can stroll through historic downtown Burlington and listen to live music as you shop for your favorite produce or craft items. It's the best market I have seen in our area.

I have been waiting and waiting for a farmer's market of this quality for Burlington. I don't have to drive to Madison or Milwaukee. The food and products are outstanding and I look forward to it weekly. It is a wonderful setting and a gathering on a weekly basis. It is reasonable and open to anyone. The produce is very high quality: much organice and hand made items. I have only missed one week so far.

It has brought our community together as well as brought visitors in to our community that normally would have not stopped. The combination of warm friendly people, food, gorgeous plants and live entertainment makes it more than just a stop.....it's a great way to spend an evening.

I think it is a great thing for the community - where else can you get fresh vegetables, plants, bakery, etc. We can come every week to purchase whatever we need fresh. We also come the car show every 4th Thursday and enjoy the evening with friends. Keep up the good work.

Two years ago some individuals in Burlington got together and started a farmers market downtown. It started out with a few vendors and the idea was to promote local farmers and locally grown produce ect. It has grown over the last couple of years up to a point where last week they had close to 2,000 people attend!!! This event has been an incredible boost to our downtown area and it continues to grow each and every week. The event is held every Thursday night in the library square downtown. If you have not been there it is a great place to go and pick up fresh locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, homemade pickles, relishes, chocolates ect. It is also just a fun place to bring the family and have a relaxing evening. The kids can run around and play with others, you can pick up fresh produce ect and sit down with the family and enjoy a fresh sandwichÂ?.

I like buying grass fed meat directly from the farm because it's healthier and I know the animals had a good life. I also like buying directly because the farmer did the work and they should get the profits, not middlemen. This market also has really good chicken brats!

I love the fresh produce, the varity is great, I even purchased a chinese broccoli that I haven't ever seen anywhere. The bread is outstanding and the arts and crafts are beautiful and affordable. I bought a bird house hand made by a husband and wife that is just adorable, It's called the tweet motel. There are a wide varity of plants, organic meet's game and buffalo meat. The atmosphere is upbeat but most of all your right in the center of town with all the wonderful shops and restaurant's. I love Burlington Footwear they have the best deal's and the highest qulity of shoe's, hand bags, Clothing etc... Be sure to check out maxwell street days this weekend for the greatest deals on earth.

The Burlngton Farmers' Market is the best way to support local producers, save energy (because I can WALK from my office rather than drive) and I know I'm getting the freshest, healthiest food for my family. I also enjoy the crafters Â? love the garden art! Â? and organic bakeries. This is a wonderful addition to the community and I hope it grows more and more each year.

Fresh produce is important to me and my family. Thursday's Farmer's market in Burlington's unique small town setting makes for a great family outing. We recently visited and the coordinators had invited a local car club. This was an added treat for our family. Thank you for supporting our local folks and for putting the home back in hometown.

Burlington is a community in every sense of the word. The Farmers' Market is central to all activity in the town and offers great buys as well as that hometown feeling of neighbors meeting neighbors. Reminds me of a time when life was less complicated, more directly person-to-person. Love it!

I help raise two of my grandchildren and want them to eat fresh, healthy foods. We enjoy picking out our bounty together. Many of our weekly menus are selected for the fresh produce we find. My grandson Zak loves nothing better than helping prep and cook. My grand-daughter Trystta has an artist's eye and devours the diverse colors, displays and unique food finds. We all sample away to our tummy's delight. It's a wonderful family time.

We look forward to Thursdays so we can stroll through the market and enjoy the smells of fresh herbs and happy faces. We go to many farmers markets and the ambiance here is delightful. Situated in a parklike setting.... with that small town feel, makes me proud to be a part of this community. Well thought through when the planning went into this. Many markets are in parking lots where the feel just is not that of what a market should be. We like the variety of being able to eat dinner (yummy potatoes) and have dessert... all in the same area. Thanks for this weekly treat!
