We moved to Longmont this year and have been so impressed with the efforts of our local farms to bring pastured animal products to the community. We found SkyPilot Farm at the Saturday's Longmont Farmers Market this spring and have been purchasing their beautiful eggs from them each week. It is such a pleasure to crack one of these beauties open and see the rich, dark golden yolk and firm whites. Such healthy eggs! I was especially interested in supporting this farm as I ride by it on my bike frequently during the week on the bike trail and am able to witness the beautiful, healthy, pastured chicken mommas that produce these gems busily scratching away in the rich pastures, fresh air, and sunshine outside their chicken tractor homes. Happy chickens, happy eggs, happy me!
