This is the second year that we have purchased our Thanksgiving Turkey from Patuxent Harvest. We could not be happier! It was absolutely delicious! Please remember to brine in salt water the day before so that it is really succulent. (Google has the process) I am amazed at how HEALTHY these turkeys are. The heart and liver I cook and give to my dogs, but they do not compare to store bought turkeys. You can tell by the color of the turkey and the organs how much better these are than store bought. NO yellow skin color, slimy, smell, hard organs with cartilage fat all over them like the store bought. The price is well worth the quality of food you are getting. And the local people and owner Mike are sincere, warm and clearly love what they are doing to keep us all healthy! Thank you Patuxent Harvest! Happy Holidays!
