We just started purchasing raw milk from Broadrun and it is SO delicious! I couldn't be more pleased. All three of my daughters have had trouble digesting milk, so we decided to try raw milk. It is easily digested because all of the beneficial bacteria and enzymes necessary for digestion are not destroyed in the pasteurization process. My oldest is not a fan of milk at all and prefers soy milk, so I was a little worried that she wouldn't go along with my plan to switch, but she is actually the biggest raw milk fan in our house now. She loves it! We all do. :) I skimmed the cream off the top of about a gallon and a half and made butter- easily the coolest thing I've ever done in my kitchen. It was also amazing (and the kids loved making it). We also purchased eggs and have been really pleased with those. Their prices are fantastic! The eggs, for instance, were a full dollar cheaper per dozen (for comparable free-range eggs) than Giant Eagle. And I'm so happy to support a local family business. And as a previous reviewer pointed out, Vicky is extremely helpful and returns emails in a timely manner. Love them!

This is the 2nd time I have bought chicken from them. It's delicious no matter how you cook it! I have roasted, fried, and baked the chicken with a variety of herbs and recipes and it's all good. So much better than supermarket chicken. Vicky is delightful. Always friendly and prompt in responding to questions. I'm a city person now, but raised in the country, and was impressed by the farm. Very orderly and well run. The eggs are good, too. I have already placed my next order.

I too recently purchased chicken from this farm. I roasted mine with fresh rosemary , salt, and pepper inside and out. It was so good! It literally fell off the bone! I definitely will be buying from here again!!! I also wanted to say that the owner of the farm is so very nice to do business with. She was very helpful when I was trying to fingure out how much I needed to purchase for my family.

I recently bought a couple of chickens, and roasted the first one with fresh herbs, stock and honey -- it was full of rich flavor, and extremely tender. A huge hit with the family. Even my kids appreciated the fact that we know where the chickens come from, and that they are free-range. We are looking forward to eating the second one, and buying many more to come.

We ordered half a hog this year and were extremely pleased with the results. The pork was lean with white, not yellow, fat. There was an impressive amount of meat from this animal.

The butcher processed the hog in a way that made sense for our small family. Butchering costs were very reasonable; the meat was nicely packaged, labeled and frozen. The roasts came in two sizes which makes meal preparation easy to plan.

My mouth was watering as I unpacked the smoked meat. We have two large hams plus several slices of ham individually wrapped for smaller meals.

The bacon was mostly meat, very little fat. It almost resembled Canadian bacon in it's meatiness. We ended up with 7 trays of bacon from our half.

It is hard to match the quality and price of this meat in the grocery stores.

The eggs from the farm were fresh and tasty. The yolks and whites held their shape.

Ron & Vicky were very prompt in answering questions. They kept us informed about the status of our order as it was being processed.
