Milk and Honey serves as a great grocery shopping alternative to our city options. As we know sourcing our natural groceries in Chicago, from a truly genuine source, may be difficult. Thankfully, Milk and Honey comes to our farmers/health market in West Town (right at Presence Hospital off division) and helps me feed my family great wholesome natural foods.

Protip: Thier bacon and eggs are super tasty, highly recommended!

I went to Milk & Honey Farmstead to buy local honey and also bought pork sausage, hamburger, onion, and romaine lettuce. I talked to one of the owners about chemical free vs organic. They grow their products chemical free and that is better then just organic. I saw the milk cows, chickens, turkeys, and a pig. They looked well cared for and all had comfortable, clean living spaces. The honey was very tasty and I hope it helps my son with his allergies. The sausage and lettuce were very good and I haven't eaten the hamburger yet. The food may taste similar to store bought but what's important to me is that it doesn't have chemicals that can be harmful to my health.
