The La Crosse Farmer's Market is a huge asset to the local community. Each week this gathering of farmers provides us with not only a chance to eat locally, but also a chance to get in touch with our community. For me it brings to mind a sense of simplicity and serenity that you could only find in the environment of a morning's browse through the tents and tables of the farmers' market. They also support the community by working with the local WIC program to help low income families to obtain locally grown produce through a voucher program that is unique to this market in particular, and the vendors are always welcoming to those who are spending those vouchers.

I have never failed to find the produce I need at an amazing price - and it has all been top quality.
