I support local farmers and I eat what's in season. I moved here from CA 10 years where I was a strong supporter of organic farmers markets. Someone told me about Morningside Farmers' Market after being here for only 2 weeks. I have been a happy camper ever since. I look forward to going to the market on Saturday mornings, rain or shine.

The main reason is that everything is organic. I can walk to the market on Saturday mornings. And each week they have a local chef give a cooking demonstration.

They were the first truly organic farmers' market in the area. The farmers have consistently good produce. I know them and trust them. I also love the chef's demos every week as they show us how to work with seasonal produce. It is wonderful to see familiar faces every Saturday morning - all year long!

The food is fresh and fabulous-crisp lettuce, spicy arugula, plump figs, unbelievable tomatoes, juicy melons and on and on. There are always a few seasonal surprises with new things to try. These are dedicated organic growers and farmers who bring a wide variety of incredibly delicious organic produce, grass fed meats, organic breads and more to this market. An extra bonus is the Market atmosphere of appreciative, smiling buyers who chat, shop and even wait patiently in lines because we know the amazing meals we will soon be enjoying.

I am a native of Atlanta and I support Morningside Farmers' Market because all these hard working farmers take pride in the fruits of their labor. I especially enjoy the local chefs cooking demo every Saturday morning. Always tasty! Helps me to try something new with the fresh produce I buy at the market. You're the best!

Fabulous, organic produce, a community of friends that keeps expanding, learning cooking tips and tasting the dish at the chef demonstrations. The Morningside Farmer's Market was one of the very first in Atlanta. Thanks to the success of this venue, many other markets now enhance our city.

I have shopped there since its inception over a decade ago and appreciate the soundness and dedication of its organic farmers. There are now many good markets in Atlanta, but this is still the best for tasty vegetables and fruits, even meats. I know I can find the most interesting varieties of produce here. I grew up in the country and enjoy talking to the Morningside farmers about what they are growing, what crops are on the way out, what is abundant now, what is coming in next. The kind of agrarian conversations one would otherwise miss in the city. The Morningside Market is a real treasure. I also love that I always bump into friends of all sorts here and get to catch up in a most communal way.

A wonderful market. We walk there every Saturday morning we are in town, and look forward to seeing the farmers and other regulars. A real "happening". Even better in the depths of winter with the few regular fans showing up. Beautiful produce, flowers, meats and crafts.

Georgia Grown was a cooperative of certified organic family farmers and was organized in the early '90's and as a result several chefs suggested we expand our horizons and open a 100% certified organic farmers market - so14 years ago Morningside Farmers Market was born. Each year it has continued to grow and offers its customers the largest variety of produce in the area!

The Morningside Farmers' market is an all organic market with fabulous locally grown produce. Some of the farmers also bring truly free range eggs, pork and meat products and breads and grains. I have not seen another market in Atlanta to match the quality and range of the organic offerings. I was lost until I found the Morningside market. And best of all it is open year round!

Aside from the beautiful and wonderful fresh organic produce, the farmers are all so willing to talk to you about what they are doing. Then as an added perk there is always a local chef that does a demo using a fruit or vegetable that is in season. What a treat to have this market in the neighborhood.

Morningside Farmers' Market is one of only a few totally organic farmers' markets in the South. All of the farmers are certified organic. The market has been in existence for 13 years and every year more and more shoppers come to buy delicious, fresh, organic produce that is grown within 2 hours of metro Atlanta. I also support the Morningside Market because it has a strong sense of community. These farmers have become my friends.

Wonderfully fresh produce, the farmers who grow the crops, the cooking demonstrations by local chefs are all parts of the reasons I love Morningside Organic Farmer's Market. I support the market because I want the farmers to survive and prosper so the I, and my neighbors, have access to locally grown, non-genetically modified food. Supporting this market also means just that much less support of factory farming. Win for me, win for the farmers, win for the health of my family, win for the environment.
