I vote to support the Marshfield Farmer's Marker because it's wonderful to keep the economy circulating in the area (support local farmers/locavores), the people are warm and friendly, the sounds, sights and smells inviting, the food delicious and nutritious! Vote Marshfield! :)

I love the Farmer's Market at Festival because it it available both Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 1. Much better availability for people who work during the week and can't go to the Markets held during the week. There is always a wide variety of vegetables available and if you need ideas on how to cook something new, the vendors usually can help with a recipe or two. Also this market has many more vendors, and different vendors on Saturday than Sunday. There are also beautiful flowers and plants, honey, breads-some with samples, maple syrup, jams and jellies, baked goods, candles and soaps and sometimes buffalo products: almost anything you can think of. When you go on a weekly basis you can watch the season gradually change as the change in produce occurs. On Saturday, there is even one bread vendor that has gluten free bread for customers who must follow the gluten free diet. He is very knowlegeable about his regular breads and the gluten free breads and he in his baking makes sure there is no cross contamination of flours, etc. His breads are very tasty. Most of the produce the vendors can tell you exactly when it was harvested and when they think a particular product will be come available. Then when you are done at the Farmer's market, you can always go into the grocery store and get what you couldn't get at the Farmer's Market.
