Eric and Melissa Brown are wonderful people and fantastic farmers. They grow things the right way, with no synthetic chemicals, and the fruits (and vegetables, and honeys, and soaps) of their labors are delicious. Eric and Melissa are personable and extremely willing to share their what they know with others, and they encourage people to visit their farm and see how things are done there. For CSA members, in fact, this is a requirement, and this speaks to the fact that they are people of principle.
The Browns set a great example for all of us who aspire to grow at least some of our own food, and they offer great food at reasonable prices. I always look forward to both the conversation and the goodies I get from them on Saturday mornings.

Stephen and I had a lovely visit to the farm this week and picked up our first produce order. We loved the gardens and unique fruit trees like the Pawpaw trees. Eric and Melissa have done a fine job making their farm a total part of their lives. They were both informative and great listeners. It was just so heartwarming to see the young children playing in the strawberry fields - picking and eating thsoe strawberries.
We ate a terrific meal last night with red leaf lettuce, argula, and asaragus. This morning we had farm fresh eggs. We look forward to another farm visit and more delicious food. Merry Lowe wrote this!

This is our first year being a CSA member and we are very impressed already. The produce has been fantastic and fairly priced. Not only can we order produce, but also eggs, and homemade soaps and breads. Eric and Melissa are very knowledgeable and helpful and are dedicated to growing quality products with a true concern for the earth. In this area it is hard to find "organic" products in the supermarkets, and it is great to be able to offer this variety of "organic" produce to our children.
