I really love to go and wander among the different shops. My granddaughter and dog love it too. It is a dog friendly event, as is most of the Yorktown area. Some great fresh foods and products made locally. I grow luffa sponges in Newport News and really should get a spot down there to sell my processes sponges from 2023 and all my sprouted luffa vine seedlings. I have rare varieties. The Virginia Huskies luffa that I developed and some Louisiana Heirloom luffa seeds and seedlings.

Scenic Riverwalk Landing on the York River serves as a backdrop for this fun and fresh farmer's market. Not only do they offer locally grown produce, but there's also fresh seafood and meat, yummy baked goods, handmade soaps, jams, Virginia peanuts, and much more. Local artists line the street with festive tents, offering up their unique wares. The setting also includes restaurants like Water Street Grill, gift shops and art galleries like the Yorktown Onion and Auntie M's American Cottage, a jeweler, Viccellio Goldsmith, and there's even a shop that offers Segway tours of this Historic area. Moored at the dock are the tall ships, Serenity and Alliance that offer charters and tours on the river and beyond. Southern hospitality is evident at the Yorktown Farmer's Market where all are welcomed and new friends are made.

I love this market...and not just because of the beautiful location. Great vendors with great local products! Especially love the produce and seafood, and the option of purchasing the Homestead Creamery milk there since I don't have another location to get it closer to me.

Some of the new vendors need to have their applications revoked as we are not impressed with their offerings. Homestead Creamery dairy products purchased at the local Kroger's and stickers on vegetables from Walmart and Farm Fresh is not appealing to a local farmers market.

This is a great market due to the vareity of vendors, the setting in Riverwalk Landing, the artist, and the great local entertainment.

Wide variety of vendors, lots of food + local artists, live music. Great location, right next to a local yarn/fiber shop as well (bonus for me!).

It has everything for a nice day out and good produce to boot. Location cannot be beat in Yorktown on the York River.
