My family and I have been using the farm for 3 1/2 years, and we don't buy beef or pork anywhere else if we can help it! Christy is very gracious, and truly cares for our family, our health, and our convenience.
The animals are content and healthy, and tended to as if members of the family. They are very well taken care of, and it shows in the quality of the meat. While regulations state that beef only need to be a percentage grass-fed to be declared so, the cows at Truth Hill are grass-fed from beginning to end, so you know exactly what is coming into your body when you eat this beef!
We also enjoy Christy's wealth of knowledge concerning human nutrition in relation to consumption of meat and eggs. Anytime we have a question, we only need to give her a call.

Take a trip out to meet them and see the farm and shop from the store they have on the farm, call them first to make sure they will be there.
You can also see them at the Firewheel farmers market in Garland, Frisco farmers market and at Dallas farmers market under the name "Texas Meats Supernatural" Christy is there everyother week on Sat. and every Fri morning.
She will let you pre order and have it there ready with your total for pickup at any of the farmers markets!
I have been a customer for about 5 years now and I would not buy my meat from anyone else. This is a place that truly has pride and a love for what they do.They care about my family and what we put in our mouths. It encourages me that they not only sell their meat but eat it themselves.
My children always enjoy going out to the farm and seeing the animals and petting the dogs. The animals are all friendly and very well cared for. They have lots of room to feed and roam freely.
Aside from the way the animals live their meat is the best tasting. We really enjoy the arm roasts and sirloin steaks they sell. The eggs and bacon from them are always a hit in my family as well.
Right now they have smoked hams for the holidays that are salted and smoked--not doused in chemicals like most hams you buy. We have had one for the past three christmases and won't buy another brand. The bone left over makes the best beans you will ever eat!

Truth Hill knows how to take care of their animals and it shows in the quality of the beef. Lean, tender, and very flavorful. I have been to the farm twice and have thoroughly enjoyed myself each time. They are truly organic and "one with nature" in their approach to raising their animals. Even their milking cows are not "housed", but are corraled by a portable electric fence (consisting of just one wire and tall stakes) wherever it is easiest to gather them at the moment.
They also grow great cats! :-) On my first visit they had a batch of 4 month old black kittens, and one followed us all over the farm excited to see what the humans might be getting in to. I had to go back a week or so later and adopt her. She has an outstanding, very socialized personality. So if you're looking for a kitten as well as beef (or sometimes pork), call Truth Hill and see if they happen to have another accidental litter. :-)
