My aunt [Artistry farm] is a vendor there, and I've heard so much about the atmosphere and the organization through her; I'm in love with it already, and I've not even been to it yet!

It's the place to get fresh, local, organic foods as well as free-range eggs, locally made soaps, locally grown flowers, etc. The market is also a place to meet your neighbors, see cooking demonstrations and sample the results, listen to some local music, and gain some of the wisdom of area farmers regarding our own gardening projects.

My sister - Artistry Farm - sells goat cheese and other goodies at this market every weekend. I was there a couple months ago and it was a bustling, fun market full of wonderful food and artist made products. Such a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Each Saturday morning is such a wonderful visual experience and a delight to the senses. Not only do you get to visit with friends, but get to take home the healthy and tasty produce for your table. Accepting food stamps is certainly the right thing to do. Also, love to visit with all the dogs that visit. Terry Beck

Have attended this GREAT MKT and LOVE the atmosphere of friendly, hometown everywhere. It reeks of good organized managment and besides that My Daughter, Debra Bowles is involved, so I know the produce offered (including her own) is top-grade or she would not touch it! Accepting food stamps is one more show of their CARING! TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT

The Oxford Farmers Market is diverse, providing a rich community all it's own each Saturday morning. The farmers and merchants take pride in their offerings and are always helpful in the education of little ol' back yard farmers like me. Bravo!

because people who don't have the means to grow and produce it themselves need the option for healthy food

They are much more than just a farmers market. Local restaurants sell coffee and pastries. local people sell their own fresh baked goods. There are regular cooking demonstrations by local chefs using market meats and produce. Every week they have activities for children which allows parents the opportunity to shop without distractions.

always a great variety of fresh organic produce every week along with homemade cheeses, baked goods, soaps, meats, homegrown plants and fruits, plus they cater to kids with their "sprouts" program- getting a younger generation excited about fresh farm fare, everyone is extremely nice, some vendors give out recipes to try along with the produce they sell, they even have cooking demos done with the produce, it is always a treat to visit the market each saturday, they even have local artists sell their wares- a great place for all ages and culinary skills.

For a small town there are cheeses, vegetables, fruits, potted plants and very friendly people. It is nice that most is organic and right in the middle of this small town....
