excellent produce, freshness, interesting variety and the people really love what they do

They have a wonderful selection of vendors with a wide variety - fresh eggs, vegetables, beef and bread. It is truly a Fresh Market! Additionally they have some lovely craft vendors as well. Wonderful when looking for a special gift.

Always has fresh tasty vegetables and other foods that are produced locally by our nearby Virginia farmers. It is such a wonderful community effort with good hard working Americans who should get a big "Thank You" for providing such homegrown and homemade foods!

I can walk to this market from my house. It carries a variety of local produce and products in a great setting. I wish it could be all year long! The wendors are quality driven and a great addition to our community.

Great vendors who believe in organic and local food and customers who know farming can only survive if it stays in the hands of the local owners and not conglomerates who take the money away from the communities.

because the growers and crafts are so diverse and every vendor I have met is so friendly. Also there seems to be a cohesiveness instead of competitiveness between the vendors that makes for a feeling of warmth and hospitality!

An excellent group of high quality vendors, dedicated to serving the public. It is also very well managed.

There are such a variety of booths there. I am impressed with the activities for children, even thought I do not not have any at home anymore. The prices were excellent and the baked goods were extraordinary.

I love the ability to purchase local meats, breads, veggies and honey all in one place. The community is beyond words!!

We have such wonderful local small farms that share thier wonderful produce,plants,and flowers with members of our communities.

It's great fun every Saturday and there is suh a large variety of offerings, both vegables and meats, but also art vendors, music, alpacas, and a kid's chance once a month to sell what they have made or grown. It's GREAT!

Local culture at its finest!! I live in suburban richmond, and can't get a good ripe tomatoe anywhere else!! Love it

This is a great event in the Goochland Courthouse! The people are super friendly and the selection is great. Awesome atmosphere for getting the weekend started.

Goochland Farmer's Market is the best market in the US. Everyone is friendly, congenial and the community really supports the market. The market is a huge draw every Satirday morning and people come from far and wide to buy things. The produce, flowers, herbs, meat and dairy products are excellent!!

This is the only market in the area where I know I can find fresh, organic, sustainably produced meat, eggs, produce and the artisans are the best!!!

The Goochland vendors are collaborative and supportive. Some of our vendors have experienced accidents and illnesses; others have suffered personal losses. Wow. Eggs, cheese, wine, beautiful organic veggies, art work, stunning cut flowers all from my neighbors under 100 year old Oaks with live music. This is not just a market it is a feast for the senses.

It's like a mini-State Fair !! Last week, a local Alpaka breeder brought one of his animals and a young boy proadly ushered him around the market so that everyone could pet him!!Also,if you like really HOT HOT pepers...you can't beat the GFM.

When traveling by it is a great place to stop and stock up. Also great for locals to be able to get fresh quality products.

I firmly believe that we need to support our local businesses! It is much better to buy from local area businesses than it is from box stores, you get a much fresher, quality product!

I support the Goochland Farmers Market as it provides an opportunity to purchase fresh, non chemically treated vegtables, range free eggs and homebaked goods. On the flip side of purchasing food, it encourages farmers by providing a venue where they can sell their wares and hopefully make enough profit to encourage them to continue their farming.

I love the local, community feel of the market, the friendliness of the vendors and the variety of their offerings. The market is held on the beautiful, shaded lawn of a church right in the middle of our charming town.

The venue in front of Geace Episcopal Church is so pretty! Everything we buy at the market is such good quality...and it's fun to see so many friends.

Great food, great people - there is always something fun going on and my children love the music, green space and farm animals that tend to be there!

The Goochland Farmers Market is a wonderful market. It is a cultural and social event that takes place every Saturday in our community. People come from far and wide to buy produce, meat, flowers, herbs, crafts and other items. We are extremely licky to have such a wonderful, local market.

I love the Goochland Farmer's Market because they give local farmers and craftsmen/women a chance to market their goods. I love having access to local produce - everything from meats, vegetables, honey, fresh eggs, wonderful knitted products and jewelry. There is even music to listen to while you are shopping.

It's very social and good for the county. The people of Goochland love to support the county and to be reminded of it's rural heritage. It's the place to be on Saturday morning to see lots of friends and neighbors and to meet new ones.

They are amazingly friendly and have a great variety. Plus, they have an super fun kid's market once a month, which helps get the next generation really excited about farmer's markets. It was excellent!

The Goochland Farmers Market has a wide variety of vendors with a wonderful selection of fresh produce and grain fed beef and pork, as well as artisanal cheeses, fresh flowers, plants, locally produced wine, etc. The trees in the churchyard provide shade, inviting shoppers to linger and visit with friends. The musical entertainment promotes even more enjoyment. What a fabulous place to hang out on Saturday morning!

It's important to me to have access to locally grown foods, and foods that are grown by the healthiest methods and standards. I like being able to ask questions directly to the supplier. I find the suppliers at Goochland Farmers Market are in agreement with my emphasis on the cleanest, most nutritious foods. Goochland Farmers Market is my primary resource in a search for optimal foods! I find the foods to be tastier, fresher, and the selection better than at any grocery store for in-season regional foods.

The Goochland Farmers Market supports the regional farmers and everyone is so darn friendly there. Makes ya want to go back week after week plus they always have entertainment and shopping is fun.

As a producer market, it is great to get to meet (and support) the people who are growing, making and producing things for your family! Such a great market!

It has a lot of pure food, pastured animal products, chemical free, pesticide free, antibiotic free vegetables and meats. I don't buy my food in grocery stores so I really depend on the farmer's markets like Goochland Farmers Market to provide our food!

It is located in the center of the county seat with good parking and the groups that participate provide produce and other things of good quality.

I love a good 30 miles away but still make the trek there as often as possible. The vendors are friendly and informative and the products they sell are well worth the drive!

I love that the vendors are very friendly and share so much info from the product, growing it, canning, freezing,to recipes. They also have entertainment for all. Sometimes animals,music, and hobbist, spinners, needle workers, knitting, etc. I love all the organic and natural skin products and soaps. Garden lawn orniments are nice also. Such a varity to see and learn.

They are consistent on their quality of goods sold, knowledgeable personnel, good prices. Put up with all kinds of folks' questions, and still have fun. Love having music and all the dogs and kids, running around. Yeah!

Beautiful location, diverse selection of products, high quality and unique offerings. They always have entertainment and educational exhibits. I've been to several in the Richmond Metro area but I like this one the best because it's managed by a non profit and the vendors are the folks who grow or make what they sell.

Everyone is so friendly, and the shady church lawn is so cool and pleasant. All the vendors are very helpful, and their food is tops. This market is my favorite way to spend a Saturday morning!
