They have a wonderful selection of vendors with a wide variety - fresh eggs, vegetables, beef and bread. It is truly a Fresh Market! Additionally they have some lovely craft vendors as well. Wonderful when looking for a special gift.

Always has fresh tasty vegetables and other foods that are produced locally by our nearby Virginia farmers. It is such a wonderful community effort with good hard working Americans who should get a big "Thank You" for providing such homegrown and homemade foods!

It's great fun every Saturday and there is suh a large variety of offerings, both vegables and meats, but also art vendors, music, alpacas, and a kid's chance once a month to sell what they have made or grown. It's GREAT!

Goochland Farmer's Market is the best market in the US. Everyone is friendly, congenial and the community really supports the market. The market is a huge draw every Satirday morning and people come from far and wide to buy things. The produce, flowers, herbs, meat and dairy products are excellent!!

The Goochland vendors are collaborative and supportive. Some of our vendors have experienced accidents and illnesses; others have suffered personal losses. In good times and bad, other vendors have pitched in to help. New vendors are welcomed into the circle. Together, vendors and customers have created a true sense of community.

It's like a mini-State Fair !! Last week, a local Alpaka breeder brought one of his animals and a young boy proadly ushered him around the market so that everyone could pet him!!Also,if you like really HOT HOT pepers...you can't beat the GFM.

I support the Goochland Farmers Market as it provides an opportunity to purchase fresh, non chemically treated vegtables, range free eggs and homebaked goods. On the flip side of purchasing food, it encourages farmers by providing a venue where they can sell their wares and hopefully make enough profit to encourage them to continue their farming.

The venders bring wonderful fresh products and recipes that are easy to use in our everyday cooking. We enjoy the atmosphere of the shady lawn and live music, and meeting friends and neighbors each week while we shop is fun too. I love the Goochland Farmer's Market because they give local farmers and craftsmen/women a chance to market their goods. I love having access to local produce - everything from meats, vegetables, honey, fresh eggs, wonderful knitted products and jewelry. There is even music to listen to while you are shopping.

It's very social and good for the county. The people of Goochland love to support the county and to be reminded of it's rural heritage. It's the place to be on Saturday morning to see lots of friends and neighbors and to meet new ones.

The Goochland Farmers Market has a wide variety of vendors with a wonderful selection of fresh produce and grain fed beef and pork, as well as artisanal cheeses, fresh flowers, plants, locally produced wine, etc. The trees in the churchyard provide shade, inviting shoppers to linger and visit with friends. The musical entertainment promotes even more enjoyment. What a fabulous place to hang out on Saturday morning!

It's important to me to have access to locally grown foods, and foods that are grown by the healthiest methods and standards. I like being able to ask questions directly to the supplier. I find the suppliers at Goochland Farmers Market are in agreement with my emphasis on the cleanest, most nutritious foods. Goochland Farmers Market is my primary resource in a search for optimal foods!
I find the foods to be tastier, fresher, and the selection better than at any grocery store for in-season regional foods.

It has a lot of pure food, pastured animal products, chemical free, pesticide free, antibiotic free vegetables and meats. I don't buy my food in grocery stores so I really depend on the farmer's markets like Goochland Farmers Market to provide our food!

I love that the vendors are very friendly and share so much info from the product, growing it, canning, freezing,to recipes. They also have entertainment for all. Sometimes animals,music, and hobbist, spinners, needle workers, knitting, etc. I love all the organic and natural skin products and soaps. Garden lawn orniments are nice also. Such a varity to see and learn.

Beautiful location, diverse selection of products, high quality and unique offerings. They always have entertainment and educational exhibits. I've been to several in the Richmond Metro area but I like this one the best because it's managed by a non profit and the vendors are the folks who grow or make what they sell.
