This market could be ideal except their internal policy dictates the Market Manager focus on the WRONG PURPOSE. Scrutiny should be on HOW soil is enriched = chemicals vs. compost/fishmeal. PUBLIC BEWARE, ASK YOUR VENDOR IF THEY USE CHEMICALS? The ideal would be to support farmers who do not take short cuts for personal gain. Sustainable farming is our only path forward If I still lived in Batavia I would buy from a CSA, as most of the members of the Batavia City Board of Directors do. The variety of produce, jams,jellies,honeys is amazing. Very pleased with the addition of the Niagara Wine Trail to the Market this year. Vendors are friendly, It's definitely a lovely way to spend time on a Tuesday afternoon (or a Friday for that matter)

The nicest market, the best vendors, the finest produce. Talk about "fast" food--buy sausage, cheese, fruit, and enjoy taste and the knowledge that you're supporting the local economy. It doesn't get any better!

the vendors are friendly, the food is always presented beautifully and their prices are reasonable.
