This market could be ideal except their internal policy dictates the Market Manager focus on the WRONG PURPOSE. Scrutiny should be on HOW soil is enriched = chemicals vs. compost/fishmeal. PUBLIC BEWARE, ASK YOUR VENDOR IF THEY USE CHEMICALS? The ideal would be to support farmers who do not take short cuts for personal gain. Sustainable farming is our only path forward If I still lived in Batavia I would buy from a CSA, as most of the members of the Batavia City Board of Directors do.
