This is a good market but isnt locally grown it is shipped in by truckers,The produce is good but if you want to know what is done to or in your produce not sure you can get that here.

It has many of my families favorite fruits and veggies,most of the time,in a friendly atmosphere.

because it's the best farmers market in alabama...you get what you come after and alot of local farmers go there ...it's been there for decadeds and still going strong..it's great

I farm for a living and most of our fresh produce, watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, green beans, onions, sweet potatoes, irish potatoes, turnip greens are sold on the Jefferson County Farmers market - come visit for the best produce in Alabama.
