West Allis Farmers Market is open three days per week, it's large, has easy parking, lots of fresh foods to choose from, and friendly farmers who usually take time to answer any questions I have about their produce.

West Allis Farmers Market is in an area accessible to all income levels and delivers fresh, low or no insecticide produce to thousands of families. Merchants are friendly and informed and willing to share their bounty!

This market is conveniently located and home to many farmers in the area. Plus it is open 3 days each week making it easy to shop almost whenever I feel like it. Many of the farmers have brought their produce to this market for many years and it's so nice when the farmer recognizes you as a regular buyer. Besides - it's a lot of fun!

It's one of the oldest Farmer's Markets in the Milwaukee area. Great fresh produce and chicken feet.

We have a nice little farmers market down here in rural Urbana, IL. Since I live here now, I am a frequent visitor. But it is just a shadow of the market in West Allis. I grew up in Wauwatosa. My parents planned all of their summer produce shopping around this amazing market for nearly fifty years. I always try to return if I'm in town on Tues Thurs or Saturday.

It's a family tradition, my mom goes there, my grandmother went there. It's all fresh and grown by the people selling it.

I began shopping at the West Allis market within days of moving to the city in 1963. It was first rate then, and though it has changed over the years, the quality of the varied and locally grown produce has remained superior.

They always have the freshest produce (as they can't begin selling until 1pm) and the greatest selection around.

One of the oldest farmer's markets around, in the heart of a working-class neighborhood, with a farmer that sings!

It's the perfect size, not too big and not too small, with a wide variety of vendors, an eclectic mix of products, and a friendly vibe. It gives me a good feeling to support local food production, the prices are good-to-fantastic, the people-watching is an added bonus.

I've been going to this market since I was a child! I remember being there in the fall and having fresh apple cider! It's a nice home-town market with a great selection, fresh veggies and fruit, and great prices!! I would rather support the local farmers than the big grocery stores!!!

I have been going to this market for almost 60 years! It has everything!!!....so many memories have been made here...and more surely will come. My grandmother took me here almost every Saturday every season. I took my children frequently, and hope to take my grandchildren. It's an institution.

Almost year round availability of fresh produce. Most other markets are only seasonal.

West Allis Farmer's Market is one of, if not THE oldest market in the Milwaukee Area. All food is fresh and locally grown, and many vendors take WIC coupons.

Get there early. While there are strict rules about when vendors can start selling, they will often let you select produce and put it aside for you, for the opening bell.

There is great variety, everything from fresh flowers and potted herbs, to Brussel sprouts and Pumpkins in the fall.

I've gone to this Farmers Market on many Saturday afternoons. It's covered so they operate rain or shine. The vendors are fantastic. There is a good mix of floral and fruits/veg vendors. If you are looking for additional products this is not the place for you.

Also note, that pets are not allowed under the pavillion.
