Nice market. Came from out of town. The parking attendant was the biggest jerk I have run into in years. I was told he was not the regular person. I hope so. If he is any indication of how things are done at this market, then I will never go back.

I find the Auburn CA Farmers Market to be a great source of very good food along with being a very fun group of Farmers who always have a smile on their faces and are willing offer great input on how they are doing and useful information about growing our own food as well.
Good food and good folks!

Framers Market produce is much tastier than super market fruits and vegetables. It stays on the vine longer and therefore is likely more nutritious as well. Auburn Farmers Market is local for me and I like the convenience and the fact that I'm supporting my local community. I always find that the people are friendly and it's an enjoyable experience.

I love purchasing humanely raised meats at Auburn Farmers' Market as well as learning more about the ranchers who produce them. Organic eggs and produce, when I buy them, are much enjoyed. It's also fun exchanging recipes with my favorite Vendors.

The local fruits and vegetables are of high quality and I feel that I can trust the growers to be concerned about their customers health. I want to see Placer county maintain as much of its rural / agricultural base as possible. I think we've had enought urban growth! So, supporting the Farmers Market makes me hope that I'm contributing to keeping Placer county green.

Great locally grown food and products that are brought to us by some of the most wonderful people. Marketing the way it should be to restore our health and the health and dignity of our food supply. We go every Saturday and purchase most of our food for the week there, and it is a beautiful way to start our weekend.

This is a beautiful market where I can buy locally grown produce, fish, meat, cheese, olive oil, roasted coffee and more. Our family buys 95% or more of our produce from this market and at least 50% of our meat! We feel good eating food that was raised humanely, healthfully and locally by other families in our community.

I live in a mobile home park and can't have a garden of any real size... The Farmers' Market is "my garden". It's the place where I can get fresh, nutritious produce of a variety I couldn't produce even if I did have a garden. Also, the bonus of being able to purchase grass raised meats and fresh caught fish is fantastic. We've been Auburnites almost 30 years and have always tried to "Shop Auburn First". The Farmers' Market has helped us to support our local community while eating healthy and well.

I've been shopping at the Auburn Foothill Farmers' Market for eight years, and rarely go to a supermarket as I can buy almost all my groceries at the farmers' market. The quality of the products the farmers sell can't be beat...they have the freshest, tastiest produce anywhere, and most of it is grown right in Placer County. It's fun to visit the market, meet the people who produce my food, and the variety of produce offered is always an adventure.
Eat local, start at the Auburn Foothill Farmers' Market!

It has a good selection of produce at very competetive prices, and is the place to find spices, meats and vegetables that you just can't find at the big stores, including many cuts of lamb which I love. The community aspect is wonderful with the vendors being incredible friendly and informative, they are a pleasure to converse with.

The Auburn Farmers' Market is the best market in Northern California. On January 5th we started writing a totally local in-season cookbook. We're serving meals for 52 Mondays 52 weeks during the year. We'll publish the cookbook in early spring. To see what we had for dinner last Monday check out www.placercountysinseasoncookbook.com, click on 52 weeks, and then click on Julhy 6th. We buy everything on Saturday (meat, fruit, vegetables, grains) at the market and prepare it for dinner on Monday night.
