the food is wonderful, the farmers are very nice, there is a great variety and it is 12 minutes from my home. I believe fresh food is better for you than what sits in the stores for a while before we get it.

Every week there are delicious local vegetables, fruit, cheeses, meat, bread - as well as flowers, soaps and lotions. -What's not to love!

Fabulous food, amazing farmers, and great variety. It's wonderful to know the people who grow and produce our food, and for my daughter to know where the foods she loves come from.

The vendors are super. The food is amazing. Our 1/2 farm share pick up is huge (enough to share with many friends)always something in it that I have never eaten before. I love than my town is so forward thinking that they make this a priority. Just wish it was an all year event.

Ever since moving from the New Jersey area, where my husband and I lived as poor graduate students on a healthy and affordable diet of from a local CSA farm share, we had been looking for similar healthy food in our new home of Havertown. Fortunately, the Oakmont Farmer's Market was founded and launched that very next season, and we now we shop there throughout the year. The best part of it all (besides the nutritious, low-to-no chemical fresh food) is sitting around the dinner table and being able to put a farmers' name to each food that we eat: "This cheese from Judy and Mandy is delicious!" "Can I have some more of Axel's turkey croquettes?" "Mike's jam is so tasty!" "Please pass the greens from Lisa!"

I started shopping at the Oakmont Farmers' Market to support my local growers. I keep going back because of the quality of the food...I feel like I am eating in a fine restaurant every night because of the taste. I used to like salads...now I love them. Fruits and veggies have never tasted so good. Farm fresh means my scrambled eggs have actual flavor. And the meats...serve them only if you want rave reviews at your house. The flowers on my table, soaps (bar & pump) and hand creams in my kitchen and bathrooms and my bread all come from my market. Don't even get me started on the cheeses...I try a new one every week. And I love seeing my neighbors and farmers every week. The best part of all is that I am eating more healthy foods, just because they taste so good.

It's a high quality, producer only farmers market. The farmers truly care about their product and the customers they sell to. The market was started by a woman who cares deeply about the state of farming, the plight of farmers, and access to high quality produce for the average person of limited means.

It is a local grop of merchants thatn offers a ide variety from the freshest fruits and vegetables to jams and candy. It is a great place to show green.

Produce is fresh, local, and some is organic. Poultry and eggs ar e available too. The size of the market is perfect.

It's a very small market that's only open I think 2 days a week Their space is in the parking lot behnd a drug store. Not ideal conditions to say the least but they keep coming and setting up every week and providing us with another opportunity to buy locally
