The vendors continually sell peaches that will never ripen.. They ll tell you in a couple days they ll be good, but they won't... They seem to prey on women as both my girl friend and mom have fell victim. I don't no why bad produce is even loaded on trucks...

Just moved here & love locally grown produce. Also, just enjoy going to the market & meeting new people. Everything here is surrounded by the mountains & wonderful smells of the sage & wildflowers.

This is a great little farmer's market with more than just produce. The goat cheese, raw honey, morgan valley lamp and the local grass fed beef are also fantastic. Hopefully we can get some more farmers to bring up more produce.

Two things though 1. It actually runs 12 noon to 7 pm 2. Don't bring your dog. It's really too hot on the pavement for them during the heat of the day. And no one has water bowls out for them.

I bring my dog and there are several vendors that do put out water bowls. As far as the pavement being too hot, my dog goes out a lot in all kinds of weather and terrain so the heat from the pavement doesn't bother her. Now, the pavement at the Silly Market does get too hot. Also, referring to another comment I buy preaches frequently from some of the vendors, I always taste beforehand and have never had a problem. One has to be discerning.

After a LONG winter, nothing tastes better than locally grown, fresh produce brought to us by nearby farmers. We appreciate them more than they know!!!

Buying locally helps the environment. The food is fresher and the cost is reduced.
