Mountain View farmers market relocates south several blocks when there's a home game in Santa Clara. Are they relocated today? It would be nice to find a schedule.

When I'm there I feel a collective love and appreciation for Mother Earth. We could shop at Whole Foods, but we choose to buy from our local farmers and vendors, because we want to feel closer to nature and closer to each other. Mountain View offers a wide range of products, and it gets better every year. It is also one of the few Markets that is open year round.

I support this market because it's my local market and I can walk to it ... and that's important. There are better-managed markets elsewhere in the region, but this is the one I attend almost every week.

The quality and variety of the products but also the way this market brings out the neighborhood every Sunday. It is our town square.

This is by far the best farmer's market I have been to. Great vendors and great quality products. I grew up in Northern California Wine Country and Mountain View's Farmer's Market outshines them all!

The best "city" farmers market in the bay area. located right on the train line its very convienent and they have the best sellers. Produce quality is always much better than local grocery stores. We buy produce, bread, fish, honey, tofu, coffee, diabetic treats, flowers, fruit and more at this great farmers market every sunday morning.

The Mountain View Farmer's Market is a Sunday morning tradition, located in Downtown Mountain View. There is something for everyone, the freshest of fruits, vegetables, nuts, flowers, cheeses and breads, as well as bakeries, home-made tamales and tofu.

Borba's French filet green beans make life worth living! Plus, the spinach from Adrian, the Kale from Nunez, and the peaches and nectarines at Kashiwase are way beyond amazing. And of course Acme makes the best baguette this side of Paris. There is a great variety of goods and vendors at this market. Too many local markets focus on prepared foods, but the MV market emphasizes produce while still allowing high-quality prepared food.

This market has a lot of vendors that sell certified organic produce and others that don't spray with pesticides, which is a big plus for those of us who are watching what we put into our bodies. The variety of produce and products sold there is astounding also.

Because life is not good with out my raw milk from Rhonda and my wonderful fishmonger Patrick, they make my week; every week. All the vendors are friendly and its always a happy place. Even if we move I will drive to come to this farmers market. It is always what I want to show visitors to my home, its as big of a deal as the Golden Gate Bridge to me.

I like supporting local growers and vendors. It's in fairly easy walking distance, and it's open all year.

It's a great, friendly and local market; we love having it within bicycling distance, and it makes a great outing for the kids.

First of all, I only live one block away - so I can basically just roll out of bed on a Sunday morning and head over there before the crowds arrive! The vendors are all friendly and helpful - most offer free samples of their goods, and my stomach thanks them! Right now the "stone fruit" - peaches, apricots, and nectarines - are in the prime of their sweet delectability! Prices are reasonable, too...what's not to like?

I started to go because of all the fresh, green carrot tops I could find for my rescued rabbits and then I found fresh greens for ME and continued to explore new ones for all of us.

Great variety of veggies, fruit and flowers (mostly organic) with music and great vendors and near all of downtown Mountain View's great restaurants. I come on the train or light rail and love walking around and soaking up the very nice vibe.

It is the most wonderful experience to walk up the street to the Mountain View Farmer's Market each Sunday morning with my husband. Besides the wide variety of organic produce, fresh seafood, raw cow's milk and cheeses - the market is such a community gathering. The smells of the freshest foods and flowers and their colors fill up the senses and the sounds of families and friends mingling with the music of a local musician provide the soundtrack. What's not to love!

I love the farmers market in downtown Mountain View. There is a great selection of certified organic and pesticide free produce. There is an amazing local bakery with fresh bread - and there's always a line out to the sidewalk for that stand! Cheeses, fresh local eggs, music and activities for kids - this market is a wonderful, family friendly place. The location is perfect, too - right next to the train station and lightrail, and right downtown for easy walking and biking.
