It has quite a history going back to the 1800s. The Farmers are friendly and personally represent the food they sell.

I love that many of the farmers will honor requests and will bring you extra vegetables if they know you will be there to buy.

I love fresh fruit and vegetables! Going to the Farmer's Market is a true Aiken experience. We must support our local farmers, and I encourage the growers to focus on the growing demand for organic food.

The Market is on the SC Heritage Corridor and supports the Certified SC grown program with 14+ farmers in the program. The farmers are small family farmers that grow awesome fruits and vegetables. The Market is the oldest (in continuous service at the same location) county farmers' market in SC.

I cannot think of a reason not to support the Aiken Farmers Market. My Grandfather took me the my first Farmers Market trip more than 50 y;rs. ago in Atlanta. What an eye opening and enlightening experience. The Aiken Farmers Market is fun, with friendly people and wonderful local produce.

I can buy fresh, healthy, local meat, eggs, and produce from people I like. For most of it, the best supermarket in town doesn't come close on quality

It's great fun and a real value. The flowers are wonderful - the people genuine - the produce the freshest! There is even live music occasionally.

All of the vendors have been selling their goods there for as long as I can remember. I used to go with my mom when I was little and I still go today. They bring their fresh produce and flowers and it's great.

People are so friendly and full of love for the produce they sell. This love becomes multiplied a thousand fold by the residents who buy and appreciate. How could this not be a blessing on us all? May the Aiken Farmers Market thrive.

Go and see Martha for the cheapest fresh produce around, and find Kathy and Ed Dale on Tuesday for wonderful eggs. This time of year I'm getting lettuces, peas, beets, broccoli, green onions, sweet potatoes, cabbage, beef and raw milk. This is my first year going to the farmers market and I know it's only going to get better as summer comes on. Don't forget to bring cash, no credit cards accepted!
