We have worked with Heartland Family farms for several years and firmly believe that they work as hard as anyone we know (and I know a lot of farmers!) in bringing to their customers the most favor filled, health packed, naturally grown CSA baskets available from all their own grown (don't be misled by the words "locally grown" produce. I have belonged to Heartland's CSA for several years and before that I bought most of my produce from them at the market. Teresa and her daughters are a pillar of our local food community. Teresa also supplies many of our top restaurants. I love her unusual and delicious vegetables. And oh, my, the eggs!! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

I have received fresh produce, eggs and butter from Heartland for over ten years. The quality is impeccable. The owner / farmer is incredibly knowledgeable, as are her employees. There is a commitment to seasonally appropriate, local and heirloom varieties that is extremely rare in the American food supply system. Heartland's commitment to the community via their CSA, food preparation instruction, and restaurant deliveries makes this local farm a genuine treasure!
