Hollywood is a neighborhood full of people who work together to put on this fabulous farmers' market every weekend. We feel it is important to support the vendors who work so hard to grow & provide healthy, wholesome foods to nourish our families!

The best fresh fruit in the city; always seasonal, always fresh. Great salmon, some in small packages, so that a single person doesn't have to buy so much. Friendly, knowledgeable sellers. Not far from my home. And I agree with Mari Jacobson about the gluten-free crepes.

I look forward to Saturday mornings with my family at the market because it makes each of us happy for a different reason: my husband loves "the mushroom guy," one daughter loves the awesome music, the other loves to watch the bees make honey for the honey sticks (and for her to enjoy) and I love the gluten-free crepes!

The Hollywood Farmer's Market really brings the surrounding neighborhoods together. Portland is known of our strong neighborhood community structure and this farmer's market adds to our treasured city livability. We always see many neighbors there each Saturday during the growing season because we're all looking for fresh products to help our health and support our community's farmers.

The Hollywood Farmer's market is a small entity with a terrific sense of community. Live music is provided every Saturday from May to November; people don't just come to shop, they come to be entertained and interact with their neighbors. It offers a nice selection of produce and other products ranging from honey to goat cheese. Dog-friendly, too!
