Revolutionary Roots Farm

We started our farm in 2014 21 acres of forested land. We are currently using pigs as natural bulldozers to begin the natural perennial seeds to develop into natural forested pastures. Using the trees (Nut and Acorns) to feed and supplementing with natural grown Non-GMO peanuts, and various grains as well as Organically grown Fruits and Vegetables. We are starting a on site breeding program for Heritage Hogs, while also bringing in Non-GMO feeder pigs and grow to size and sold via Hog Shares. We have also started our layer flock fed Non-GMO feed from their first bites as chicks. Cornish Hens and Freedom Rangers will soon be available too. Ducks are being raised currently for duck eggs and can be raised for meat if desired. Proud sellers of pastured rabbits by product of a breeder pair from Polyface Farms. All of our animals are rotationally grazing to create just the right amount of disturbance to our desired areas and also ensuring fresh areas to be grazed and roots. No smell in these paddocks... We have started our gardens in preparation for a CSA in Summer of 2016 will be accepting orders Winter of 2015.
