Antelope Valley Homestead Lavender

Antelope Valley Homestead Lavender is a small family farm. We are located about 90 minutes up the 14 Freeway from Metro Los Angeles and 60 minutes from the Inland Empire. We have around 1,100 lavender plants with currently eleven different varieties. The majority of the lavender plants are Grosso, Super, and Provence. The other lavender varieties are Buena Vista, Folgate, Melissa, Royal Velvet, Purple Bouquet, Betty's Blue, Twickel Purple, and Edelweiss. Antelope Valley Homestead Lavender does not use pesticides with all weeds being pulled by hand or by hula hoe. Our goal is that in the near future we become Certified Organic and/or Certified Naturally Grown. We welcome farm tours from May through August by appointment only. The lavender harvest for 2013 took place from June 10th through June 23rd.
