Thundering Hoof Ranch LLC is located in Green Lake County within the beautiful and gentle rolling hills. At The Ranch we have a strong tie to the land. We are working to preserve and restore habitat for wildlife by replacing once highly eroded row crop land with sustainable forage based farming, restored windbreaks, and set aside habitats. We raise all of our animals on the ranch where they can be seen in a healthy environment. We do not treat our animals with routine antibiotics or growth hormones and take great care to work with nature in the raising of them. For example, our egg laying chickens follow the cows as a means of pest control instead of using chemical pesticides. We also believe animals should be raised the way nature intended and take great care to not feed them unnatural diets. This all brings you a superior tasting product. We now have on-farm meat processing and a variety of quantities. Come see our beautiful on-farm store and take home a few cuts today! We serve, but are not limited to, Dane, Dodge, Green Lake, Fond du lac, Marquette, Outagamie, Waushara, Winnebago, and Waupaca counties. We welcome visitors to the ranch, but outside of store hours please call ahead to ensure we will be home. We have an open door policy, but for liability you need to be accompanied by a Ranch member.
