CSA: Rise Up Farms Cooperative

� You will receive 22 weeks of fresh produce, from the week of June 2nd to the week of October 27th. � We use organic growing practices inspired by the principals of permaculture design. We are not yet certified organic by the USDA, but we are firmly committed to ecologically sound growing practices that improve the health of our soil and our community. � We focus on heirloom varieties, and use as much locally-produced seed as possible. � This season we plan to offer you a Pollinators'Sanctuary and a Honey CSA in addition to our vegetable share. � You can pick up your share each week from our farm on the east side of Elkhart, or from Purple Porch in South Bend. � Full shares will cost $600 ($26 / week) and should provide enough vegetables for a family of four. � Half shares will cost $325 ($14 / week) and should provide enough vegetables for two people. � We will strive to give you at least 20% more produce than you paid for. For example, we will do our best to ensure that our half shares have an average retail value of $17 each week. That�s 20% more than the $14 price. Full share members will get an even better deal. � CSA members will always be our top priority.
