WHAT IS A CSA?Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership between the Farm and a group of share-holders. In return for your investment ($33.33 per week or $800 total) at the onset of the season, you share weekly in the bounty of our harvest. This fosters a direct relationship with the farm. A membership supports the local economy and assures that you are sourcing local, organic produce and supporting environmentally-friendly practices.
WHO WE ARE:
Always an environmentalist, I am a teacher turned farmer. After 10 years of tending gardens and working on several organic farms I am pursuing my life-long dream. My husband, Leslie, is a wonderful farmhand! Together we are committed to living well and doing good through farming.
OUR VISION:
We believe in high quality, organic, local and seasonal vegetables that are fresh and taste good! Sustainable and responsible stewardship of the land is paramount, as well as supporting community initiatives. Come grow this vision with us!
WHEN & WHERE:
The season is from 6/9-11/17. Pick-up is on Fridays at the Farm, 3005 Youngs Ave, Southold. There will be additional pick-ups at the Sayville Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and the Port Jefferson Farmer's Market on Sundays.
