West Fork Farmstead

We produce meat, eggs, and honey in a pasture-based system for our community in eastern Iowa. We work to produce the highest quality, tastiest, most nutritious food possible in a way that treats our animals well and improves our land and environment.

We raise our cows, pigs, chickens, hens, and ducks outdoors, with plenty of space to roam. We use rotational grazing practices to give our animals access to nutritious pasture and to improve the health of our soil. We choose breeds of animals well-suited to pasture so our animals have good lives and can grow slowly and naturally. We do not use pesticides or herbicides on our pasture, and we use non-GMO feeds for the animals that receive a grain ration.

We sell grass fed beef; heritage pork; pastured chicken; pastured chicken and duck eggs; and raw honey. You can order food through our website or by emailing, texting, or calling us. We sell our food directly to households and make regular deliveries (every other Thursday) to the Iowa City area, Kalona, Wellman, and Washington. Customers can also place orders to pick up on the farm. Please contact us first to schedule a time to come to the farm so we can be sure someone will be available to help you.
