PURE & RAW VARIETAL HONEYORGANIC RAW JUJUBE FRUIT
The Cuyama Valley is home to the Caliente and Sierra Madre mountains. Our pristine environment is home to unpolluted air, fresh rainwater and a profusion of native flowering plants that provide our bees with the essential elements of wild nectar and pollen to create the finest quality, most healthful honey.
The distinctive color, flavor and aroma of each varietal honey is as unique as the combination of nectar and pollen gathered by the bees each season. Every delicious spoonful is a taste of Nature and a direct connect to the sunny Central Coast of California.
NEW! CCOF certified organic JUJUBE FRUIT!
The jujube has been used for centuries as food and as a staple in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a sweet fruit that can be eaten fresh or dried. It contains a small pit. Crisp and sweet when fresh, the fruit has been compared to an exotic apple. We have a limited amount of dried jujube available at Whole Foods Market San Luis Obispo, Rutiz Farm Stand Arroyo Grande, Gladden and Sons Natural Produce Goleta and Avila Valley Barn Avila Beach. Dried fruit is elegant as a wine appetizer with cheese and nuts. It can be substituted for any date, raisin, prune or dried fig in a recipe. Try it to make a healthful tea! Our organic dried jujube is a RAW food, as it is allowed to dry naturally on the tree.
