Hand raised lambs are taught to accept human contact so that they will be the easy going, manageable farm additions the new shepherds are looking for. The sheep are taught to stand for individual hand shearing. Many of the lambs go on to be used in animal assisted therapy in The Big Red Scarf Progam. The fleece is then prepared & hand spun and offered for sale as are the Romney and Romney X BluefaceBorder Leicester and Wenslydale X Lincoln sheep, freezer lamb, fleece and pelts. Curly locks, designer handspun yarn, pelts available by mail-order or by personal consultation.
