Fall 2012 CSA Shares available now! Perks of membership: Besides plentiful weekly veggies shares, we offer monthly member events, workshops, on-farm meals & concerts; first dibs on our delicious pastured pork, chicken and eggs, and awesome animals to come meet and pet (baby goats, our water buffalo, Bill, puppies, peacocks, and more...)

Our season runs from June to December. We also offer subscriptions to half the season, either summer (June through Aug.) or fall (Sept.-Dec.)

We plant many vegetables varieties in successive crops to provide assortment throughout the season. We use no chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our gardens and we integrate the vegetable production with the animals as much as possible to recycle nutrients and reduce inputs. We use rich compost- thanks to the goats- and rotate crops such as nitrogen-fixing legumes to enrich the soil. We carefully intercrop vegetable varieties to attract beneficial bugs (which pollinate and eat bad bugs) and deter pests. With practices such as these, and with lots of loving labor from our farmers and interns, we are able to provide you and your family with sustainably produced, fresh, tasty, healthy produce.

In addition to our superb produce, we offer pastured meat chickens, eggs, and heritage pigs (when possible) that enjoy the same, careful consideration as our veggies.

Example share August: 2 lbs summer squash/zucchini 2 lbs heirloom tomatoes 1 pint sun gold cherry tomatoes 2 lbs cucumbers 3 sweet peppers 3 jalapeno peppers 1 ½ lbs green beans 1 bunch basil

Example share November: 1 bunch green onions 12 stalks collards 15 stalks kale 2 lbs carrots 1 bunch beets 4-5 lbs pumpkin or winter squash 1 bunch mint 1 lb salad mix (lettuce, arugula and spinach)
