Whippoorwill Blueberries

We are open from mid June through July. Our farm is a "you pick" or customers can place an order for us to fill. We use a minimum of chemicals. The only product that is sprayed on the berries is Neem. This product is approved for organic growing. It is an oil based product that comes from the Neem tree which grows in the tropics. Neem treats fungus as well as keeps the bugs away. We do fertilize once in March. We mulch around the plants to control weeds but occasionally spray herbicide on weeds. Because we use fertilizer and occasionally herbicide, we are not considered organic. We provide plenty of cold water, have a restroom and picnic tables for those pickers who need a rest. For those who like to sit while they pick, we have chairs and crates you can use. Buckets are provided for picking. Hours of operation are 8am - 8pm Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Monday to cut grass.
