S&B Ranch/Black Shire Almonds

The S&B Ranch is a 10-acre owner-operated almond ranch located in Arbuckle, California. Our plot of 540 almond trees were hand planted by us in 2004 and they are Butte and Padre varieties known to provide some of the best almonds for snacking. When you taste our delicious almonds, you will be experiencing freshness and quality that only a small orchard can deliver, hence our slogan, From our trees to your home before the dust settles.

Our 2019 crop is ready for you to enjoy! And our almonds are grown, roasted and flavored right at the source, in small 12-pound batches, ensuring freshness and quality that is unique to our brand! We believe they represent the highest quality and best tasting products for you and your friends and family. We keep our natural almonds fresh in cold storage until time for roasting and flavoring. Our delicious almonds are perfect for snacking, parties and make unique gifts for your family, friends and business associates.

Our 8-ounce packages come unseasoned (natural) or in 20 unique and delicious flavors, in savory, spicy and sweet varieties! And we roast and flavor them ourselves onsite! If you happen to be in Northern California, please come visit us at our Farm Stand and Roasting Facility at 6055 Hillgate Road in Arbuckle. We are open Fridays and Saturdays, Noon to 6:00 p.m. and by appointment on any other day. Just call (530) 476-2081 to schedule. Please note that during the COVID-19 crisis, we are practicing social distancing and preparing orders for drive thru pick up.

We established Black Shire Almonds with the goal of providing the best quality almonds in flavor and freshness. Our orchard is very small compared to large corporate farms and this means we have a limited supply of nuts each year. Because of this, you can be one of a select group to be able to enjoy them. (Although we do encourage you to share them with your family and friends!)
