Montana is the home for Going to the Sun Fiber Mill and Farm. Not only do we have a full service mill, but we also raise mini llamas and alpacas, plus Harliquin, Polish, Jersey Wooly, Mini Satin and Netherland Dwarf rabbits. The rabbits are pedigreed for show and the Harliquin Rabbits are also used for meat and pelts. We sell and also use our camelid manure for our vegetable and herb garden. We spin and weave beautiful rugs, place mats, and table runners out of our mill, along with our fine yarns made from our herd. We naturally dye our yarns with native Montana plants whenever we can. We offer dried seasonal herbs of comfry, lavender, mint, garden herbs, and native cedar. Most can be used as herbal teas. Quilting designs on a long arm quilting machine is also offered along with the ability to process your own wool/alpaca fiber into batts for the inside of your own quilt. Diana also teaches hand spinning, knitting/crocheting, natural dyeing the Navajo way and beginner rigid heddle loom classes. Visit us at fiber festivals throughout the western states. PLEASE CALL BEFORE ARRIVING TO MAKE SURE SOMEONE WILL BE HERE.
