Mountain View Farm/The Tomato Lady

Family Farm
At the nursery in Pinehurst, the main focus is growing edible plants to sell-tomatoes, peppers, veggie and herb starts, edible flowers, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. We also sell flower starts, some perennials and succulents. We do not use any pesticides and feed our plants naturally. Jam is an important addition to the business in the summer and fall. We source our fruit our own berries, and from from Cliffside Orchards, a Certified Organic farm. and local Huckleberries.

Starting May 1, the farm nursery is open 1-6, Sunday through Wednesday, and we sell at the Kootenai County Farmers' Market on Saturdays. During open times, we invite you to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at our overview of Pine Creek, dine or grab a beer at The Snake Pit or enjoy a walk or ride along the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. The Silver Valley has much to offer, and we are only a 35 minute drive from Coeur d'Alene.

The nursery generally ceases regular hours in mid June but we are happy to see you if you call to make an appointment.
