Sauvie Island Organics is located 15 miles from downtown Portland, nestled among farmland and wildlife refuges. For over 20 years we have been growing vegetables in the rich soils of Sauvie Island. We are dedicated to providing delicious, seasonal, and local foods to Portland area residents through our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
Our shares come with 6-10 different crops each week, and can be picked-up at one of our 3 staffed pick up locations in Portland or out at the farm on Sauvie Island.
The Salad Share is specifically a 1/2lb bag of gourmet cut baby greens each week (24 weeks total). It's a varied mix of baby cut lettuces, arugula, mizuna, mustards, chois, kale, chard, and a variety of other seasonal leafy greens.
