We have been growing, on leased land, naturally and sustainably since 1981, Hurricane Ike literally wiped us off the earth and we have been rebuilding ever since. We are being rebuilt using about 80% re-purposed or recycled materials. This spring we will be back in full swing and rebuilt to the point we can be of service again. We practice only sustainable methods in everything we do, we are currently reinstalling our rainwater collection systems and all the raised bed drip systems. We offer classes in rainwater collection, grey water collection and processing as well as children's classes on small plot gardens. We are not public business but rather operated by a collective guided by autonomy, egalitarian decision making processes. We only propagate heirloom, organic seed, practice seed collection and use no chemicals of any sort, We are totally GMO free, no hormones or antibiotics in the raising of our small animals. We practice animal husbandry that is totally free range and pasture fed. Starting in March we will be offering, by appointment only, visits to our little effort and encourage you to visit and see if this is the type of small farms that will fit into you and your families needs. Peace be with you.
