Rankin Farm

Rankin Farm raises certified organic pastured poultry, turkey and pork on 244 acres in the heart of bourbon country, Anderson county. Our birds all truly free-range; they are not confined to chicken tractors during the day. We strongly believe that being cramped in an enclosed space, even though it is on pasture, is not in the best interest of our animals. We want them to have access to shade, bugs, grasses, and the ability to run or lounge where they please. We raise small batches of animals at a time, to ensure they all get individual attention. Our pigs are born and raised on pasture. They are able to root, wallow, and nap in the shade. The health and happiness of all animals on our property is a core value to us, and daily care is overseen by a licensed veterinarian.
