CSA: Scotch Hill Farm

We plant 60 vegetable and herb varieties from heirloom and certified organic seed. No GMO or treated seed. No herbicides, chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides are used. Weekly newsletters list vegetables and share recipes. You can view complete lists of vegetables and herbs delivered in past seasons at our web site. Quantities and varieties each season vary based on weather, temperature and moisture. Vegetables are delivered in 3/4 bushel waxed produce boxes and transferred to recycled brown paper grocery bags or members' canvas bags at delivery points.

Although there is no work requirement, we welcome your visit (please call first!) and we also arrange a few opportunities during the season for our subscribers to gather for a hands-on farm visit, with plenty of socializing before, during, and after your time in the dirt.

Double shares available for large families or for those planning to can or preserve throughout the season. We also offer a limited number of fresh-cut flower shares to members only, and we have a separate, optional Late Fall/Early Winter Share, including two double portions delivered in the first week of November and the week before Thanksgiving.

Additional drop-off sites can be established with a minimum of 20 new subscriptions.

Wisconsin residents: Check with your healthcare/insurance provider to see if they participate in the rebate program for CSA subscriptions through MACSAC.org. To date, participating companies include Physicians Plus, GHC, Dean Care, and Unity Health. Partner Shares assistance is also available for qualifying low income households.
