At the Kickin' Bull Ranch we feed our animals natural foods so the meat will be rich in omega 3's and high in amino acids that make our beef good for you. Not only is our beef better for you, but it tastes great too. Why do we feel this way? Our family has over 100 years experience raising beef and tending the land. Why did we covert to All Natural? To be in sync with nature, have cleaner water, healthier soil, and better feed for our animals. By changing to Aggrand Organic Fertilizer we are improving the quality and health of our soil, the plants and our animals. The increasing price of chemical fertilizer helped us make the decision to speed up our conversion to becoming GREEN. We want a cleaner healthier environment for our children, our grandchildren and future generations. We keep the cattle family units together thus, creating a low stress environment. We use low stress animal handling techniques to keep our animals relaxed. A relaxed animal equals tender meat. Our animals are free range raised without the use of hormones, antibiotics or crowded feedlots. For the more traditional consumer our beef get our all natural high protein feed mixture while grazing on pasture. Flax seed & oats, which are high in Omega 3's, are a few of the ingredients in our feed mixture. We add mineral that contains all natural sea salt, kelp & sea weed. The pastures and hay meadows are kept weed free without the use of chemicals. Totally grass finished is available upon request. Ranch tours are available. We provide Ranch Day for inner city kids. Ranch Day includes a tour (with discussion about where their food comes from), Cowboy/Cowgirl fun and games, animal appreciation, a nature walk and cook out if time allows.
