Our Community Supported Agriculture Program or CSA program is a membership based revenue generating program for our urban farm. Customers pay $300 upfront for a share and in return receive a weekly box of farm fresh bounty. Our CSA seasons are 10 weeks long and our boxes include 8-10 seasonal fresh fruits and/or veggies and a newsletter with recipes and stories about our youth. Proceeds from our CSA help pay stipends to youth enrolled in our Second Chance Youth Garden program. In fact each CSA memberships allows one youth to receive a stipend for their hard work and participation in our 6 week job readiness program.

Our CSA program and our onsite Farm Stand are the main two ways we market our produce, and the revenue generated from both of these venues is a vital part of keeping our youth program running! We use organic practices and grow a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. For anyone living in the City of San Diego produce doesn't get more local than this!
