We are a pasture focused meat farm located in Brown County, Ohio. After finishing 9 years of active duty service in the Marine Corps, we returned home to start a sustainable livestock farm. In everything we do, God is king and it is his guidance that we follow to produce some of the healthiest, best tasting meat you have ever had. We rotate our animals daily using management intensive grazing (MIG) and mob grazing. We graze our sheep, and steers together in the same paddock as a flerd. This, combined with such intense grazing, is actually sequestering carbon back into the top soil where it belongs helping to combat climate change, reduce runoff and flooding, improve air quality, and oh yeah, your taste bud experience!
Sheep - We have registered Katahdin hair sheep. They are a meat breed that is very hardy, low input and disease resistant. They make great mothers and the meat is very mild. We ask $5.00/lb hanging weight for the lambs (sheep under 1 year) and that doesn't include processing. Customers may slaughter and process their own goat on our farm. Live weight prices are as follows: 50 pounds and under- $200; 50 - 90 pounds $225; 90 plus pounds $250.
Beef - We grass finish steers for at least 4 months before slaughter. Like the sheep and goats, our steers are grassfed, supplemented with minerals. $6.00/lb not including processing.
