Wake up and smell the lavender! We are a mother and daughter run lavender farm, since 2002 in beautiful Fauquier County in Northern Virginia (55 min. west of Washington, DC). Come and join us for our "pick you own" season beginning in early June through early July. Please check our web-site for details. Lavender is known for it's relaxing and calming properties, so there's not many better ways to spend a morning or afternoon than in the lavender field. We also provide a host of homemade lavender gifts. Visiting the lavender farm provides a wonderful and affordable outing for a group of friends or for a family. Children are easily able to participate and really enjoy it.

As a gift lavender signifies luck or devotion. And a lucky gift it is: few other herbs can rival it's usefulness. As an herbal medicine lavender is used to soothe, treat hyperactivity, depression, insomnia, cures motion sickness and migraines.
