Riverplains Farm

We are a family living and working on family land, striving to become a dynamic, sustainable farm. We believe in growing and preparing REAL FOOD, and are dedicated to sharing the fruits of our labor, the gifts of our land. Currently we raise grass-fed beef cattle, pastured laying hens and broilers, pasture-raised heritage breed pork and sell direct to consumer from our farm. We also grow NON-GMO, open-pollinated corn ("Wapsie Valley" and "Hickory Cane") and spelt. Our corn and spelt is ground locally at historic Valentine Mill in Dandridge, TN. We are dedicated to raising the most nutrient dense food as possible -- no chemicals, no GMO's, pasture-raising livestock and sustainable farming practices in general. Riverplains Farm Catering and Mister Canteen Food Truck is owned and operated by Anna Niceley Barreiro, Jennifer Niceley and Misty Oaks. Using as many ingredients from the farm as possilbe, we offer personal chef services, events catering on the farm -- from weddings to Farm to Table dinners-- as well as off-site.
