Shady Fox Farm

We are currently accepting beef orders for our fall/winter and spring harvests! Our goal is to raise healthy, quality products not only a sustainable manner, but in a manner that improves the health of the soil and the quality of our water for future generations. Here at the farm, we choose quality production over quantity, and our animals always come first. Animal husbandry is our top priority, including keeping our animals happy and healthy. We practice rotational grazing to maximize our forage and to provide quality forages for our animals. We never rush the finishing process of our animals, allowing the animals to develop naturally, and thus developing the perfect mix of muscle and marbling that results in an exceptional product. We are in the process of making improvements to our farm to improve the health and quality of our resources. The improvement we are currently working on include fencing out our pond, and providing alternative watering sites, installing more fence to facilitate rotation grazing, and even planting pollinator habitats to increase beneficial insects and to provide habitat for dwindling insect species.
