Shaw Farms

Shaw Farms is a five-generation locally owned family farm in South Paris, Maine. Ours was a dairy farm for 50 years, but now is producing grass-fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs.

We began this venture to provide good wholesome food for our own families, and now we have enough to share with others. This is the same food we raise for ourselves and our children and grandchildren.

We have all-natural 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef available, by the whole, half, or quarter, and also a wide array of retail cuts. Our cattle, pigs, and chickens enjoy a pleasant and peaceful life, with plenty of fresh air and sunshine, along with gentle and humane care in a stress-free environment. They are raised only on fresh green grass and our own naturally grown hay. Our cattle are moved to fresh pasture every day during the grazing season. This produces meat that is clean, lean and has a very good flavor. We also have Pork from pastured pigs and our meat chickens are raised on pasture as well.

We are concentrating on the Murray Gray breed of cattle, known for their gentle disposition, high quality meat, and good mothering characteristics.
