Craftsbury Common Winter Farmers' Market

Farmers Market
The Winter Farmers' Market in Craftsbury Makes Buying Local an Inviting Cold Weather Activity. Local farmers, cooks and artisans will have their goods available at the new winter farmers' market starting Saturday, December 12th from 10AM to 1PM. The market will be held one Saturday a month December through April in the Craftstbury Academy common room. Each month a variety of vendors will set up shop offering local products including produce from Wildbranch Farm and Surfing Veggie Farm, cheese from Bonnieview Farm and Ploughgate Creamery, an array of baked goods from Connie's Kitchen, the best Mexican food in the Northeast Kingdom by Chole Adams, as well as fresh bread and other goodies. A wide assortment of crafts and gift items will also be available such as recycled wool sweater quilts, Adirondack furniture, jewelry, hand carved walking sticks, body care products, and spun, woven and knitted goods from local wool. All the products offered at the winter market are either grown or made by each local vendor. A local musician will also provide added entertainment at each market. Set in a picturesque village inside a historic building with a cozy atmosphere of live music, local foods and quality crafts should make this an inviting and festive Vermont winter destination. The 2009-2010 dates for the winter market each month are December 12th, January 9th, February 20th, March 13th, and April 10th.
